Fall colors at Chandigarh

On a beautiful sunny weekend of this winter, I visited my local park. Saw a lot of photographic opportunities and luckily clicked some good ones. Its a our Town Park called "Yavnika" and adjoining to that is Cactus Garden.

Its National Cactus, Succulent Botanical Gardens And Research Center, Sector 5, Panchkula, Haryana. Spread over an area of 7 acres (28,000 m2) in Panchkula, is Asia’s largest outdoor landscaped Cacti and Succulents Garden. Development of this garden started in July 1987 most of the succulents are endangered species and this is an effort to conserve these planst for posteriy. There are more than 3500 species of cacti and succulents in our collections and the number is steadily growing. This garden prides in having the largest collection of Indian succullents in the world, some of the India plants are on the verge of extinction.

Here are some snaps I clicked there.
